What is Intimate Portraiture?

Intimate portraiture captures moments of authentic and candid self expression and emotional connection with yourself and with the camera to create portraits revealing the essence of who you are as a human being.

Informal and relaxed in its approach, intimate portraiture captures facets of your personality, whether moments of vulnerability, confidence, sensuality, laughter or the simple beauty of being human.

As a photographer and artist my joy is to collaborate with you to create deeply personal portraits that reveal your individual uniqueness and beauty in an uncontrived way and in keeping with who you are as a person.

Working in your home or in private setting of your choice, I use light and composition within the context of your own surroundings to create images that are timeless, affirming and truthful.

As a female, fully DBS-checked photographer, I prioritise professionalism, discretion, and consent at every stage. We discuss intentions and boundaries before we begin, so every session feels safe and personal.

The result is work that belongs to you - portraits that are both personal keepsakes and works of art.
